It runs quietly and all spindles run absolutely true, no runout. It has been an excellent performer and has given me no trouble. I have equal experience with the Jet spindle sander and feel that the Grizzly is equal to it in every regard, especially considering the difference in price. I bought this machine with a great deal of trepidation, but soon found that my fears were baseless. I have owned this machine for five years and use it regularly.
etc. In a Delta review the buyer talks of the sharp corners on this machine's table. They even called me back twice to check on my progress. The machine is up and running now. etc. It's a nice addition to my wood shop. My machine arrived with freight damage.
Their customer service was the best I ever experienced. I looked around my shop and found the same sharp corners on my bandsaw, tablesaw, radial arm saw, planer, etc. Grizzly offered to send a second machine but I felt, with a few parts, that the machine was easily repairable. You won't regret buying this unit. To spend $250 more for the Delta because of the corners isn't necessary in my opinion. Without hesitation they shipped all the parts I needed and sent some extra sanding drums for my trouble.
It is heavy and quiet.
This would be a great addition to any shop. The sanding drums last much longer than I expected due to the oscillating action and the cut is smooth and fast. This is a very capable machine. Unit runs with no vibration, it is very quiet and has ample power.
